The Team

Verlingue has an established Multinational Client Services teams in Manchester, which is currently a team of 5.

The team acts as a resource to the Verlingue UK business, placing multinational insurance programmes and controlling/co-ordinating the foreign local service of these with our broker partners around the world. In turn the team acts as a local service partner to our broker partners, placing and servicing the local UK insurance requirements for their clients’ UK subsidiaries. The team is the “shop window” of our business, and the consistency and quality of our delivery directly impacts the business we receive in the future.

The volume of business is rising rapidly and career opportunities within Manchester and in the wider Verlingue group are excellent should individuals demonstrate the required skills and success in their role.

The Role

To provide a quality service to clients and broker partners in respect of renewal and new business insurance arrangements, arranging and securing appropriate cover for our clients’ demands and needs.

Key Responsibilities

General responsibilities


  • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with clients on day-to-day basis
  • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with insurers/broker partners on day-to-day basis
  • Processing MTA’s and administration
  • Ensuring all communications, documents, invoices are issued in a compliant way in line with company Policies & Procedures and full utilisation of Acturis.

New Business

  • Broking clients up to £5k income
  • Invoicing
  • Policy wordings – checking correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements
  • Production of summary of coverage


Renewal Business

  • Updating records with any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements, Fact Finds and underwriting information.
  • Obtaining terms from holding insurers
  • Renewal Report production
  • Invoicing
  • Production of summary of coverage
  • Policy wordings – ensuring correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements

Person Specification

  • Previous industry experience, preferably within Broking
  • Commitment to working towards Cert CII
  • IT savvy, fully Competent in Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • A Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Drive to achieve results, solve problems and deliver service and ability to work to deadlines
