Cyber Security has been identified as the biggest risk for many business currently, not helped by the Covid situation.  With the increasing number of cyber attacks, we have seen more requests for assistance regarding cyber, from our clients.

This prompted us to initiate a search for a likeminded IT Cyber partner.  Once we understand the risks our clients face, we assist them in mitigating their risk, through insurance.  CMI can then work with the business to further improve their cyber defence.

CMI, a leader in IT Infrastructure Planning, Implementation & Support throughout the UK and Ireland. They are an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), recognised as one of the world’s premier MSP’s in the prestigious annual MSP501 rankings, listed for the 4th consecutive year. Listed at 112th globally, and 6th in EMEA. They are not only focused on solving the IT problems of businesses, including Managed Security Services, Cloud Solutions, Training and Support, but dedicated to delivering the highest level of client service.

Some of the CMI services that we have introduced to our clients include;

  • Dark Web Reports, the report highlights the businesses exposure to businesses exposure to compromised credentials. Digital credentials such as usernames and passwords, connect businesses and their employees to critical business applications, as well as online services. Unfortunately, criminals know this and that’s why digital credentials are among the most valuable assets found on the Dark Web.
  • Completion of a self-assessment IT Security Audit, based on the Cyber Essentials framework. The purpose of the Security Audit is to identify any gaps that may exist in the businesses cyber security defences. CMI can then advise where attention should be focused to improve cyber-security, they can provide the solutions and assist in their implementation.
  • Simulated phishing attacks can be carried out, this is where deceptive emails, similar to malicious emails, are sent by an organisation, to their own staff to gauge their response to phishing and similar email attacks. Based on the results of this one-off test, CMI are able to gauge the level of Cyber Security awareness within the business and if required propose training solutions.
